Lekke Band Reparatie

Inner tube replacement and tyre patching while you wait. Front wheel: 15 minutes. Rear wheel: 20 minutes. We stock all common sizes from 20" to 29" including cargo bike tyres. Puncture-resistant Schwalbe Marathon upgrades available.

Grote Beurt (Full Service)

Complete bicycle overhaul: brake adjustment, gear indexing, chain wear check, hub bearing inspection, headset and bottom bracket check, wheel truing, and safety inspection. All cables and housing replaced if worn. Cleaned and lubricated.

E-Bike Service

Electric bike diagnostics, software updates, motor service, and battery health check. We service Bosch, Shimano STEPS, Yamaha, and Bafang systems. Error code diagnosis and warranty claim support. Controller and display replacement available.

Wiel Richten (Wheel Build)

Wheel truing, spoke replacement, and custom wheel building. Hand-built wheels with DT Swiss, Sapim, and Shimano components. Racing wheelsets, touring wheels, and heavy-duty cargo bike wheels. True to within 0.5mm.

Amsterdam Fietsenmaker was started in 2011 by Pieter van der Berg, a former Gazelle factory mechanic who wanted to bring old-fashioned bike shop service to the Jordaan. What began as a garage workshop on Hazenstraat is now a proper shop on Elandsgracht with 3 full-time mechanics.

We believe every bike deserves proper attention — whether it's a battered omafiets or a carbon race machine. We use Park Tool equipment, stock quality parts, and never cut corners. That's why Amsterdam's cyclists keep coming back.
